Tannins & Pine Resin Extraction: The cemetery is surrounded by a dense canopy of oaks and pines. Falling needles and leaves release acidic tannins and sticky resins that create deep, dark stains on the 19th-century marble and granite markers. We specialize in safely lifting these organic acids, restoring the stone’s original character without using abrasive methods.

Pioneer Stone Stabilization: Many markers at Julian date back to the 1870s and are made of soft, "sugaring" marble. These historic monuments are highly susceptible to wind-driven erosion and UV degradation. We utilize pH-neutral, soft-wash techniques to preserve the fragile inscriptions of Julian’s founding families, ensuring their stories aren't erased by the mountain elements.

High-Altitude UV Protection: The sun is more intense at 4,000 feet. This constant UV bombardment can "bake" lichen and moss into the stone, making them extremely difficult to remove.
