Cemetery Maintenance Services Process

At Clean and Care Guy, we operate with military precision and geographic efficiency to provide exceptional cemetery care processes for families across four Southern California counties. To uphold our high standards while keeping our grave cleaning services accessible, we follow a 4-week service rotation. Once your order is secured, we will reach your site within a 4-week window as we navigate through our county routes.

Step 1: Start the Mission

Everything begins with the Service Request Form on this page. We need the details only a family knows: cemetery name, the full name of the deceased, and any plot or section numbers you have.

Step 2: Secure Your Service & Location Deposit

After submitting the form, you will complete your payment through our secure portal. This includes the cost of your chosen grave cleaning service plus a $100 Location Finding Fee.

The 15-Minute Challenge: Our goal is to refund this to you! To ensure we maintain our high standard of service while adhering to our 4-county schedule, we require a $100 Location Deposit.

The Reason for this Charge: Navigating many of Southern California’s cemeteries can be a complex and time-consuming mission. Older records are often incomplete, markers can be obscured by seasonal overgrowth, and many older grounds lack modern digital mapping. This deposit covers the specialized research and navigation time required to physically locate a specific plot within these often vast landscapes.

How to get your refund: If the information you provide (section, plot, or specific landmarks) allows the C.A.C. Guy to locate the specific plot within 15 minutes of entering the cemetery gates, your $100 deposit is fully and immediately waived. Your refund is then issued within three working days. When you help us find the mission quickly, we pass that efficiency directly back to you.

Step 3: Scheduling & Notification

Once your job is assigned to our upcoming county rotation, you will receive an automated email and text message with your scheduled service date. We keep you informed so you know exactly when "boots are on the ground."

Step 4: Real-Time Coordination

On the day of service, we may reach out to you via a quick phone call if we need a bit of extra help navigating to the exact spot. We do this to ensure we hit that 15-minute window—we would much rather have your aid for a moment than have to charge you for a long search.

Step 5: Professional Preservation

We go to work using our specialized, stone-safe preservation methods. We treat the stone for its specific environment—removing "bronze disease," freeway soot, or hard-water crust—using only professional-grade, biological cleaners like D/2, ensuring optimal monument preservation.

Important Note on White Marble: Heavily neglected white marble markers are highly porous. Over years of neglect, biological growth and minerals can cause deep-seated staining. While our biological treatments are the gold standard, some staining may persist after the initial deep clean. In these extreme cases, a follow-up visit may be required to achieve a total restoration.

Step 6: Mission Complete & Photo Report

We believe in absolute accountability. Once the site is pristine, we take high-resolution "After" photos. We will send you a Detailed Digital Photo Report via email or text, providing you with proof of care and a moment of connection with your loved one’s memorial.
